HR Associate/ HR Generalist
Position Description
Villgro is looking for a driven HR Associate/ HR Generalist who is excited by the challenge of
growing a team, designing robust systems and processes and making Villgro a great place to work for.
Core Responsibilities
● Recruitment
o Recruit the best talent
o Build a talent pipeline (full time/Interns/Consultants/Volunteers) through outreach and
building partnership with development sector institutions
● Centralized Internship Program
o Design and execute a centralized internship program
● Drive the performance management processes including associated L&D initiatives
● Work with different sectors/sector leads to develop the KPI metrics and the HR budget
● Enable the culture of Villgro Values – IBEE: Integrity, Bold, Empathetic and Entrepreneurship and drive initiatives to nurture the Values and Cultural Principles.
● Design or improve existing HR processes/systems - employee on-boarding, engagement,
employee benefits and employee satisfaction survey.
● Actively involved in creating awareness about Prevention of Sexual Harassment through internal trainings.
● Make Villgro a great work space!
This position is also relevant for someone who aspires to get exposure in the space of impact
investment before going for further education.
Required
● 2 - 4 years of experience as a HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition
● A creative self-starter with an interest in shaping organisations
● Experience of working independently and driving a project from start to finish
● Great communication skills
● Attention to detail
● Ability to work cross-functionally and multi-task
● Analytical skills and basic spreadsheet capabilities
● Prior experience in the impact space or with a start-up would be preferred
