We are looking for an Associate to join our Treasury team within the Services group. Members of this team work on collateral management, replication of client’s margining and financing methodologies, tracking of client’s security lending and borrowing information, optimizing portfolio margin, and reducing financing charges.

What you’ll do:

Handle margin calls and pulls for client’s ISDA and Repo agreements. You will analyze the reason for differences in exposure, margin and collateral and work with  counterparties to resolve the breaks

Ensure accuracy of borrowing and lending information in our system

Ensure Independent Amount (IA)/Haircut is accurately populated on all positions. You will liaise with the client to determine IA/Haircut on new positions

Settle interest on collateral on a monthly basis with all the ISDA and Repo counterparties

Co-ordinate with the Accounting group for Collateral queries and with tech groups for file parsing

Stay abreast of global financial happenings and industry best practices

What you’ll need:

• Graduation in Commerce/Accounting/Business Administration. MBA is an added advantage
• Up to 2 years of experience in collateral management
• Working proficiency in MS Excel
• Knowledge of VBA macros is an advantage
• Operational rigour, keen process orientation, and an eye for detail
• Good analytical and communication skills
• The ability to work well in teams and multi-task
• The individual will gain comprehensive and holistic understanding of all collateral management functions and will be required to provide coverage during New York working hours.
