1. Context of the role
NirSan Connect Pvt. Ltd. is a young company that has been set up with the objective of marketing and selling its management products and services to companies and business entities. It is a business-to-business enterprise.
During the last two years, the Company has invested substantial efforts and capital in developing products, setting up business and management processes, and setting up its support functions. Now, the company’s business development and selling function needs to gain momentum.
The Associate, Product Expert & Business Development will play a central role in this endeavour along with 4 to 5 peer level colleagues.

2. Role profile

1.1. Scope of the role
The role holder will be expected to play a customer-facing role in the business development and sales function. The person will be expected to work with 2 to 3 other product experts from different disciplines, as a part of a composite BD & Sales team. The BD & Sales team will include sales executives as well as product experts from the disciplines of statistics, economics, psychology and organization development.
The individual will be led by the Head Sales & Business Development. Product support and training will be provided by the Product Development function. The role holder will get sufficient training and coaching to understand the products of the Company.
Over time, depending on the individual’s performance and the company’s scale expansion, the individual can expect to take on roles of greater responsibility within the function.

1.2. Competencies needed in the role holder
The primary competencies needed are the following:
ï‚· Strong knowledge in own discipline (i.e., statistics, or psychology, or economics, or human resources/organization development)
ï‚· Drive and action orientation
ï‚· Communication and interaction skills
ï‚· Poise and presence.
It is critical to note that strong knowledge.

1.3. Remuneration
The all-inclusive total package will be Rs.5.5 lakh.
