Title - Learning Developer – Content and Solutions Design

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role participates in many aspects of the design and production of learning solutions, such as, analyzing content; writing scripts; developing test items. Deliverables might include blended learning materials, instructional guides, job aids, performance support, and technical documentation to support the delivery of classroom or virtual delivery environments.

IBM Global Business Services helps clients solve complex business and technical issues. Learning Content Development team provides customized learning solutions & services, across the globe. Our expertise includes Learning consulting, web-based & Computer-based solutions, Instructor-led learning, mobile learning, social learning, and so on. We leverage the latest technologies of cloud, mobile, and social and have won several awards in the learning space.
WHO YOU ARE:
As a Learning Developer: Content and Solutions Design, you will work under the guidance of a team lead and a Project Manager. You will follow the solution design guidelines created by your lead and develop custom content for behavioral training design and development. Your clients will include both IBM’s clients from around the world, as well as internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Your responsibilities will include:
? Designing and developing content for training modules
? Content analysis
? Quality analysis
? Stakeholder management
? Collaborating effectively with geographically diverse cross-functional teams
? Working with frontline design and project management professionals to engage with clients and stakeholders as required
You should possess:
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Good visualization skills
? Strong understanding of mobile usability and socially driven content development
? Familiarity with learning technologies and trends
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Design and develop content for training modules based on guidelines created by frontline professionals leading the project.
2. Collaborate with team leads, Project Managers, stakeholders (as required), and a cross-functional team of learning specialists to successfully develop the proposed solution.
3. Work with the LD competency team to make productive contributions to the organization.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE:
? Minimum 17 years of education.
? Post Graduate (English and/or Mass Communication)
? Knowledge and experience with generic software/tools used for operating a computer - for example, MS Office, MS Windows etc.
? Required Education: Post Graduate (English and/or Mass Communication)
? Preferred Education: Master degree in English and/or Mass Communication
? Eligibility Requirements: 60% or more aggregate in the highest degree
? Is Extensive Time Away From Home Required? - No
