Graphic Designer
Organisation Brief:
GoSports Foundation is a not-for-profit trust established in 2008 working towards the development of some of India's most talented emerging and elite athletes, competing in Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. Joined by India’s only individual Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, former Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid and All England Badminton Champion Pullela Gopichand on our Board of Advisors, along with John Gloster as our Head of Sports Science, our vision of Enabling Sports Excellence is premised on the belief that sporting champions are created when the right talent is provided with the right support at the right time. Job Summary: The Graphic Designer at GoSports Foundation will be in charge of creatively and effectively delivering and displaying content to various stakeholders. Utilising information and inputs from across the team, the designer will have to represent the athlete stories, Foundation journey, the team’s effort and the impact brought about by our interventions on the journeys of the beneficiaries and thereby, on Indian sport, in an appealing and engaging manner. 

Qualification Required: Bachelor's degree in design or a related field, or relevant and equivalent work experience of minimum 6 months desirable 

Responsibilities: - Understanding foundation's mission, vision, visual look-and-feel of existing brand elements and working on a fresh strategy -Co-ordinating with and across teams to ensure information is processed and disseminated in a visually appealing format. - Will need to work on video editing and rendering for social media, partner, and press related functions. - Creating templates and overall layout for foundation digital and physical collateral including but not limited to: - Social media templates - Website - Programme logos - Monthly newsletter - Foundation blog - Thank you letters to donors - Quarterly and annual reports - Programme and partnership proposals - Develop new approaches to existing communication - Create designs around specific themes and events for the Foundation - Track the communication and events calendar to ensure the creatives are prepared well within time.

Requirements:
- Personal values must align with Foundation values - Adept at using specialized graphic design software like (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign) to prepare the designs - Able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to our stakeholders which are aligned to the Foundation values and mission.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in the design space aligned to the sports sector. - Ability to manage time and deliver on multiple projects while prioritising effectively. - Creativity and the artistic ability to design in line with the foundation's aesthetic, while growing and standardising it further
- Perceptive of our audience and analyse efficiently the nature of design and ideation that is most effective.
- Confident communicator and presenter.
- Aligned to/Willing to align to a non-profit system of operations.
- Awareness, basic knowledge about the Indian sporting eco-system and a passion towards the same are desirable.
