Job Profile: Copy Editing

Job Description:  

·         Copyeditors ensure that articles, books and other materials are free of errors, easy to read and conform to the publication’s style.

·         To ensure the mechanical accuracy of spelling, punctuations and grammar. This involves editing for language basics, grammar & comprehension and application of journal specific style.

·         To work closely with the seniors and team leader to create agendas, planning targets and ensuring that the targets are met.

·         Keeping the team leader informed about task accomplishment, issues and status.

·         Should be abreast with the required customer styles and specifications. Knows and adhere to standards of quality.

Skills/Qualities Required:  

·         Qualification: Post Graduate / MSc in any science discipline.

·         Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Excellent grasp of English language

·    Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

·       Need a passion for writing, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure

Good knowledge of the computer basics is essential.   Salary Package: Starting with a stipend of Rs 15,000
