POSITION SUMMARY : Incumbent will be responsible for providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. He/she would frequently use and apply engineering principles, theories, concepts and techniques. He/she would work under limited supervision and follow established procedures. He/She would contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting selection of non-metallic material coatings, platings, paints, etc. for various parts used on aircraft.

Writing test plans / reports for evaluating various materials.

Writing specifications for various materials / application processes.

Supporting various departments such as Advanced Design, Supply chain, and Manufacturing as required from Finishes perspective.

 TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

MSc. in Chemistry

Experience in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) is essential.

Experience with industrial chemical processes preferred.

Experience / Knowledge in corrosion protection preferred.

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

Effective written and verbal communication skills

A good team player

Good understanding of concepts and practical approach to problem solving

Consistently good academic record

Education : BE/BTECH, ME/MTECH, PHD

Stream (eg: Mechanical) : Chemistry

Work Experience (in years): College Graduate
