About The Media Ant: Founded in June 2012, we are a Bangalore based media startup. The Media Ant is an ecommerce portal helping people to buy and sell ad space online. For e.g. Someone planning to advertise on Star Sports can come to The Media Ant, upload their video ad, make the payment and see the ad being played. We have more than 2 Lakh media options to choose from.

Only of its kind in the world, the portal has been used by more than 1.5 Million advertisers. Few feathers in the cap have been - Winners of Economic Times Power of Ideas (2012) and being featured in top 100 startups in the country (2013).

Role and Responsibilities
ï‚· The role is for 12th Cross which is a marketplace for marketing services and will include business development and marketing activities.

ï‚· Answering client queries on emails and phone calls

ï‚· Understanding marketing objective of the brand to recommend right marketing approach

ï‚· Working with marketing service providers/ vendors to execute the work

ï‚· Working on marketing aspects including content writing, social media marketing, and SEO

Qualifications and Education Requirements
ï‚· BBA, MBA or Graduate with a maximum work experience of 2 years
ï‚· Freshers are welcome
ï‚· Minimum 70% marks at all levels
ï‚· Ability to interact in English
Soft Skills:
ï‚· Self driven and takes ownership
ï‚· Excited to work in a startup environment and looking for a fast growth
ï‚· Looking for a career in marketing
ï‚· Basic knowledge of Excel and Word
