Functions/Responsibilities

1. Develop/Enhance the Call Recording solution for different platforms

a. VOIP (SIP/RTP) & SIP Trunk

- Gain advanced knowledge on SIP/RTP protocol

- Gain knowledge on Audio CODECs (such as G.711 and G.729)

b. ISDN PRI/CAS

- Exposure to work with external (third party) vendor's SDK/API/Board

- Gain Knowledge on ISDN PRI signalling

c. CTI (TAPI)

- Learn how to interact with PBX

2. Leaning more on audio formats, PCM and MP3.

3. Exposure to MONO/STEREO Audio recording

4. Learn more about Call recording usage with Speech Analytics

Skills required

1. C++, Multi-threading, IPC mechanism

2. Good in data structures and algorithms

3. Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocol

4. Basic Knowledge of Networking

5. Coding and debugging experience in MS Visual Studio on Windows platform

6. Good and fluent in speaking English and good at communication.

7. Self-starter and good team player

Secondary Skillset:

1. Basic Knowledge on PSTN lines.

2. ISDN Signalling: PRI, CAS

3. IP telephony: VOIP (SIP/ RTP), SIP Trunk

4. CTI (Computer-Telephony Integration):

- TAPI (Telephony Application Programming Interface)

5. Working experience of Network Monitoring Tool (Wireshark)

6. Basic Knowledge of PBX features

7. Knowledge of third party SDK/API implementation

8. Knowledge of Audio file formats (WAVE, MP3)
