About The/Nudge Foundation
India will continue to add 1 million to its workforce every month for the next 15 years, most of
whom come from impoverished backgrounds. Our growing economy with a massive skill-deficit
provides real opportunity for them to escape the cycle of poverty, through gainful employment
but imparting livelihood training is proving to be insufficient.
The/Nudge Foundation focuses on sustainable poverty alleviation by building a strong 360-degree
life, learning and economic foundation for poor in residential - Gurukuls-, along with lifelong
support system. Our goal is to pull 1 million people sustainably out of poverty by 2020.
The/Nudge Foundation is a collective initiative of some of India's best leaders and entrepreneurs,
with a dream to see a poverty-free India within our generation.

About the team:
In joining the Product & Programs team, you are joining a team charged with ensuring that there
are quality interventions for the underprivileged in the country. You will be primarily working on
an exciting initiative at The/Nudge that aims at building and delivering high quality English
products. We are looking for highly energetic, passionate, and high ownership early team
members. The team is outcome focussed and committed to ensuring a quality education for youth,
and excited about creating English learning interventions that drive positive behavior and mindset
change in adults. You will flourish on this team if you are: collaborative, results-driven, love to
continuously improve, and have fun while working hard.

● Are a professional with 0-2 years of overall work experience
● Are a high-performer with a successful track record in taking ownership of tasks
end-to-end
● Are a graduate in any discipline
● Can stretch beyond call of duty, fully own your work and be responsible for outcomes
● Are comfortable travelling within Bangalore occasionally to visit stakeholders and/or
conduct primary research if the need arises.
At The/Nudge, you will…
● Work on primary and secondary research to build high impact curriculum
● Design engaging learning activities and compelling instructor-led and self-paced learning
content that enhances retention
● Define learning outcomes, design course medium, content delivery, lesson plans,
assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches
● Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment
instruments
● Analyze large amounts of data to draw insights and take corrective action to improve the
product
● Work with the team and clients to ensure successful rollout and execution of products &
services.
You need to come with…
● Excellent interpersonal skills and great written and oral communication skills
● Ability to work and problem solve under uncertainty
● An analytical ability and comfort with numbers
● Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
● Knowledge of MS Office
● Strong passion for poverty alleviation and literacy
It would be awesome if you...
● Are proficient in Kannada
● Have prior experience in content development
● Have prior experience in analyzing data and drawing trends
