Education Qualification

M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, MCA, M.S 

Functions/Responsibilities

1. Providing insurance account data entry, enhancement, coding & modeling support to underwriting and regional/global catastrophe teams 

2. Processing submission data files within stipulated time frames by entering them into account modeling systems, translating and coding to model recognizable format.

3. Perform desktop reviews, Geo Code verification & Google Earth aerial imagery

4. Location Determination (grouping of site assets)

5. Valuation Check (Insurance to Value determination)

6. Wind Zone / Flood Zone/ EQ Zone determination/verification

7. Flood Loss Estimates for exposed locations using proprietary tools

8. Modeling one or more different policy structures per account, and multiple options as requested by the underwriter

9. Documenting assumptions and updating data and model dictionaries

Skills required

1. Individual with a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Economics/MBA/MS/Actuarial Science (2015,2016 pass outs only)
2. Prior experience in insurance data management and account modeling will be a big plus but is not required
3. Knowledge of insurance is desirable, but not essential
4. Must demonstrate oral and written communication skills along with analytical and logical thinking skills

Domain of work

This role will perform Insurance account modeling within the Analytics Group of the CoE.
