Position: Trainee Content Analyst
Location - Bangalore
Job description:

Fixed Income Content team is responsible for collection, maintenance, analysis and dissemination of high quality information. The profile pertains to research and sourcing of entity level information, Terms & Conditions and ratings data for Forex and Money Market securities from various sources and updating the same to a common database. This also includes maintenance of dynamic and scheduled information on the database which supports data across Thomson Reuters products and services.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Validate the accuracy of data received from various sources. Ensure that this information is stored in Thomson Reuters databases and is accurately reflected on products by creating or running data quality checks and standards.
* Ensure the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to Thomson Reuters products.
* Respond to data queries from both internal and external clients and provide support to stakeholders.
* Assist Senior members to consolidate information around the dataset leading to the establishment of best practices.
* Monitor market events in order to anticipate changes in financial instruments.
* Work with and involve cross functional teams to provide Root Cause Analysis to identify solutions in problem areas.
Education:
Bachelors Degree and or Master’s degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Management or a related analytical field)
Required Skills :
* Strong written and verbal communication skills ( English Language ).
* Good Understanding of financial markets.
* Strong knowledge on the Fixed Income Terms and Conditions Process is a must.
* Good Understanding of MS Excel.
* Ability to work in night shifts.
