Graduate/Postgraduate application for the Learning to Fly (teacher trainee program) with stipend at Inventure Academy.

I write to you from Inventure Academy, a Pre-K to 12 school located on Whitefield-Sarjapur Road in Bangalore.  The school was set up by the India Learning Foundation in June, 2005 and in a span of fifteen years since its inception, Inventure Academy has earned the distinction of being ranked #1 in Karnataka &  Bangalore in EducationWorld India School Rankings 2021-22. At the Primary level, we follow an integrated curriculum based on the NCERT (National Council of Education Research and Training) and Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) guidelines. In Middle School we follow an experiential, enquiry-based approach, with a curriculum based on guidelines provided by the ICSE & IGCSE. Children are encouraged to explore subjects in depth, and in parallel, which often culminates in integrated projects. In Secondary & Senior Secondary School, academic rigour, varied prescribed reading and supervised forays into the internet stimulate, synthesise and co-ordinate learning. Students are guided in their preparations for their ICSE, IGCSE, ISC and A/AS level Board exams.   

At Inventure, we firmly believe that a child who is exposed to a multitude of experiences, as opposed to being solely focused on book-learning, is the kind of child who grows up to excel socially, emotionally and professionally in an interdependent and complex world. Our Co-Curricular  and Wider World programmes like Sports, Whole School Musical Production, Community Outreach, Change Maker, Model Parliament / UN, and Internships give our students the impetus to discover individual talents, work collaboratively, be socially responsible, learn life skills  and to become high achievers - in academics & beyond 

 

In our journey to deliver on our Core Purpose of "Instilling in students the ability and conviction to realise their full potential, be socially responsible citizens and excel anywhere in the world", we are always on the lookout for teachers / teacher leaders who will be able to fit-in with our progressive education system. 

 

We would be delighted to receive applications from your prospective graduates for the coming year, commencing in 2 batches in January and June 2022 (details below). We offer the trainee teacher program (with a stipend) where these graduates will join us as trainee teachers to learn the Inventure way of teaching and learning. Upon completion of their training, they will start teaching independently in the classes and subjects they are mapped to.

 

We initiated this Trainee Teacher Programme in the year 2018-19. We had around 20  teachers trained to teach Primary and Middle school in the last two years and have 12 teachers getting trained at the moment. 

 

We will start a new batch in January 2022 specifically focussing on training homeroom  teachers who will be trained to teach in grades 1-3 and will start teaching in the month of June 2022. Another batch will commence in June 2022 where teachers will be trained to teach in Primary and Middle school.
