Functions / Responsibilities

Who you'll work with:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as TAC, engineering, test, product marketing and other documentation teams to produce accurate, high quality documentation for our customers.

- Help identify and implement standards and process improvements to improve product documentation and productivity.

- Attend and contribute to product/project team meetings.

- Work with editors and technical resources to improve documentation quality and usability.

- Actively participate in or lead special projects/initiatives outside the scope of regular tasks.

- Exhibit excellent analytics and problem solving skills.

Skills required

- High proficiency in networking technology and a thorough understanding of technical writing and project management. 

- Experience in producing user documentation including installation guides, configuration guides, CLI guides, and Online Help documentation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong working knowledge and application of style guies and industry practices.

- Well-versed with Agile and Waterfall methods of product documentation and DDLC.

- Knowledge of using XML-based authoring tools, such as XMetaL and FrameMaker.

- Knowledge of DITA and working knowledge of content management systems.
