By way of introduction, I am the Managing Partner at RW Investment Advisors (Registration No. INA200004342), an investment advisory firm based out of Bangalore with close to $20 MM assets under advisory.  We are long-term investors in stable businesses with high growth to generate superior returns.

I am writing to enquire about the hiring process and to explore placement opportunities available at your esteemed university for our firm, based out of Bangalore.

We are looking to hire an Associate on an immediate basis to handle our operational requirements and processes – where his / her role will involve managing client service requests and client expectations, handling on-going accounting and administrative requirements, generating performance reports, MIS and other daily operations. Additionally, it will also entail work on researching about Indian stocks and corporate news, security portfolio management etc. The role will  provide an excellent opportunity as a launchpad to learn about trading / investing in equity markets, combining aspects of equity research work found at both buy-side and sell-side firms.

Graduates / post graduates with good communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn are preferred. A keen interest in finance and financial markets is a plus. Location will be in Bangalore, with an option to work from home. Compensation will not be a constraint to the right candidate.

In a career spanning 14 years across public and private market investing, he has delivered 5%+ $ alpha per annum both at RW Advisors and Argonaut over a decade. Prior to Argonaut, he was an investment banker at Lazard in the TMT sector and was an equity research Analyst at Irevna (CRISIL), tracking the application software companies in the US. He is a chemical engineer from IIT Madras and holds an MBA from Indian School of Business
