DBSI Bangalore is the newest addition to Diageo’s global shared services organisation. This new
entity will enable Diageo to take further advantage of its presence in India by leveraging its
business services operations and networks.

Context and Purpose of the role
Global Diageo Business Services (GDBS) is a multi-functional shared service Centre that is
managing Diageo-wide transactions across various world regions. Processes in scope are: Order to
Cash, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report (Internal Reporting and Intercompany, External Reporting
and Tax), Planning & Reporting, Treasury.
DBSI Bangalore is the newest addition to Diageo’s global shared services organisation. This new
entity will enable Diageo to take further advantage of its presence in India by leveraging its
business services operations and networks.
Arising from payment process are various statutory deductions such as PAYE, WHT and other
statutory payments which require efficient management to avoid huge penalties normally
associated with failure to meet such deadlines.
This position will work closely with In Market Company representatives of different levels and
departments as well as relevant third parties.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Ensure timely and accurate quality check of invoices, including online payment (OLP)
requests and down payments (DP).
2. Handle Manual and automatic payments requests, verify and run payment proposals
3. Quality checks are effective and evidenced by zero quality issues on Parked and blocked
invoices.
4. Invoices returned to vendor (RTV) are followed up to get replacement invoice meeting
quality criteria and this is posted in a timely manner to forestall any impact on KPIs
especially Payment to terms (PTT).
5. Tracking and managing of the PTP shared mail box
6. Ensure key vendor invoices are tracked e.g. DHL Excel Supply Chain
7. Ensure all other critical vendor invoices are tracked to avoid payment delays.
8. Printing and issuing all the vendors with the WHT certificates.
9. Ensure all the relevant PTP CARM controls are operated and adhered to in their area of
work.
10. Ensure Zero defect, timely and compliant processing of all payments

Qualifications and Experience required
ï‚· Graduate in Finance or Accounting stream
ï‚· Good communication skills verbal and non- verbal
ï‚· Good and thorough learner, with an eye for detail.
ï‚· Basic skills in MS Office
