Job Description:

Job Purpose – To implement intervention strategies; monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects, head the Communication Department

Job Summary

a)      Coordinating with and supporting the programs and activities of the BREADS projects in Kerala and Karnataka

b)      Providing support and lead for coordination with other agencies, government bodies and individuals

c)       Taking forward the policies and action plans of the national Networks of the Salesian India.

d)      To be point of Contact of all official means of Communication

e)      Managing Volunteers and Interns

 

Key Responsibilities – Programs/Monitoring and Evaluation

a)      To Undertake strategic planning for the project interventions

b)      Ensure the effectiveness of projects through monitoring and evaluation

c)       Undertake regular project visits

d)      To provide support systems to project partners and to BREADS

i) Implementation of effective processes and systems

ii) Internal capacity building and motivation

iii) Networking with local communities, government bodies and individuals and individuals

e) Training of Project Partners

f) Ensuring regular documentation and reporting about the programs and interventions

g) Initiating new project interventions

h) Facilitating the involvement of volunteers and interns

 

Key Responsibilities – Communication

1)      Documenting and reporting the various projects of BREADS

2)      In Charge of all publications  and means of Communications

3)      Creating presentations on BREADS, on specific projects for proposals, reports, etc

4)      Constant updating and communication with the Executive Director regarding various projects.

5)      Update BREADS and its project partners regarding the new developments regarding government policies and laws.
