affordable housing sector, with a specific focus on reducing the life cycle cost and creating .
lifelong affordability for its customers Janaadhar’s operations span across Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Business Development (BD) function at Janaadhar is a one of the most important functions at
this organization. This function is multi-tasking to help the real estate development business
grow by taking on all activities relating to acquiring new projects, improving processes that are
key to the existing projects, and leading as well as supporting smooth functioning for all the projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Development
i. Assist in identifying new land parcels
ii. Assist in identifying partners for development of inclusive infrastructure within the
affordable housing projects
iii. Liaising with external lawyers for due diligence of land, drafting of various
agreements related to development of projects
iv. Assist in developing financial model
2. Business Analysis
i. Conduct macro and micro supply assessment and competitor analysis
ii. Conduct macro and micro demand assessment and
iii. Analyze research reports on real estate and housing
3. Project Coordination
i. Coordinate between multiple internal and external stakeholders involved in
development of affordable housing, such as – departments such as projects,
finance, legal and parties such as architects, consultants etc
ii. Create and maintain project action plan to track timeline and responsibilities
4. Policy and Tender Analysis
i. Analyze central and state affordable housing policies, and keep track of
amendments
ii. Assist in drafting policy intervention notes
iii. Analyze government tenders related to development of affordable housing

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Post Graduate (master’s in economics /MBA) preferred
2. Analytical skills
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. Attention to detail
5. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
6. Quick learning attitude and self-drive to take on new challenges is critical
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
