Job Title: Retail Fundraising Officer

Objective: To strengthen CBM India’s fundraising portfolio by initiating
educational institution fundraising, volunteering engagement, branding
events, raising funds through events, online platforms & payroll giving.

Job specification
a. Educational institution fundraising (end to end management)
ï‚· Identify, connect and build relationship with potential educational
institutions (Schools & colleges) for fundraising
ï‚· Conduct innovative events among students for rapport building &
engage better
ï‚· Prepare volunteering calendar as and when required
ï‚· Support the grants team in due diligence and vendor forms
b. Payroll giving
ï‚· Build and establish connect with existing and new corporates
ï‚· Start the process of payroll giving
c. Online donation
ï‚· Savvy with online platforms
ï‚· Ability to adapt and advance CBM to the latest donation avenues
ï‚· Crowd funding knowledge is appreciated
d. Other avenues
ï‚· Giving through direct email campaigns
ï‚· Raise funds through organising events like Marathon
ï‚· Create donor databases
ï‚· Prepare pre-fundraising materials-- leaflet, standees, registration forms
ï‚· Develop strategies to encourage increased contributions
 Manage post fundraising activity—thank you letter, receipts, data base
ï‚· Attend events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational
goals
ï‚· Implement annual giving campaigns or direct mail program

educational institutions, students etc.)

located

Professional/Technical Expertise:
ï‚· Excellent written and spoken expertise in the English language.
ï‚· Excellent documentation (text and images/video) skills.
ï‚· Interest and knowledge of development issues.
Educational:
The candidate should be a postgraduate with a specialisation in English/Mass
Communication/Social work/Rural/Development Management/Social Sciences.
Candidates with stronger work experience with a graduate degree will also be
considered, if with understanding of development sector
Work Experience:
ï‚· 0-1 year in similar role with fundraising experience in retail fundraising
for NGOs
Other details:
ï‚· Base location for this position would be Bangalore
ï‚· Candidate should be flexible to travel as needed
ï‚· Salary range: INR 5.5 to 6 lakhs per annum
ï‚· To be able to join us in one month
