Anahata UNITED EFFORTS Foundation works with High-schoolers in Government Schools, helping them discover their dreams & aspirations, and nurturing them towards fulfilment through a robust approach in three phases -Discover, Reinforce & Support. This includes Industry Exposure through Classroom Sessions, Industry Visits, Mentoring, Career Fairs, Scholarship Opportunities and more --
encouraging every child to make an informed academic & career choice.
Currently, we are working in 8 Government High Schools in Bangalore and aim to impact over 3000 high schoolers in the up-coming Academic Year.
We are looking for a Program Associate for S3 block (JP Nagar, Jaya nagar, BTM, HSR Area)
The ideal candidate:
- Is Passionate & Caring towards Children
- Has Genuine Belief in the potential of every child
- Loves interacting with children and exposing them to different possibilities
- Is a Team Player
- Self-Starter with an ability to work independently
- Maintains friendly relationship with all stakeholders (HM, school teachers, other NGOs)
- Is comfortable travelling within Bangalore City
- can speak and write in Kannada
The Job:
The Associate will be the main resource person for a group of 4 to 5 schools in one school block. His/her duty will be to coordinate and present UE curriculum in all schools. On a weekly basis the associate along with volunteers will present different industry modules to the children in classes 8, 9 and 10. The associate will keenly observe the interests/talent of different children and groom them accordingly.

Qualifications: Graduate preferably Social Work, Sociology, Psychology.
Proficiency in MS Office, Spoken & Written Language Skills - Kannada & English
