CONTRIBUTE TO CAMPAIGN

“Educate a Child Sponsoring Programme” is the flagship donation programme of CSA. It is an inspiring initiative by CSA with the contribution of the student community of Christ University. Through "Educate a Child Sponsorship Programme" the students sponsor the education of the underprivileged children from urban slums of Bengaluru. The initiative that took off in the year of 1999 with a small number of 50 children from the urban slum community has rapidly increased by which CSA could provide educational support to as many as 800 children annually.

The sponsorship supports the children with school dress, school fees, books, uniforms, bags and other stationary items. The sponsored children also avail other co-scholastic and life-skillorientation such as personality development, leadership and creative skill development, Health camps, talent shows, excursions and sports competitions etc. along with the activity centre and buddy system to provide the children with an opportunity for overall growth.

Besides the student community of Christ University, the Educate a Child Sponsorship Programme also mobilizes contributions from alumni.Under this program, one can sponsorthe children for the educational and developmental needs with an annual contribution of 4500 Indian Rupees.
