Job Title: Communication and Documentation Manager (full time)

Location: Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy, Indian Law Society, Pune

Number of positions: 1

Qualification and experience:

Bachelor in Communication/ Media Studies, Masters in Communication/ Media Studies

Work experience in managing campaigns, mental health, and disability

Duration- 3 years

Remuneration: Rs. 40, 000- 45, 000 per month (as per experience and qualification)

About Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy:

The Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy (CMHLP) at the Indian Law Society undertakes research in the area of mental health policy and legislation. The aims of the Centre are to sensitise the community, service providers, and other stakeholders to protect and promote the rights of persons with mental disorders, and to promote a rights based approach to mental health policy and legislation. CMHLP is looking for someone who has excellent writing and documentation skills to prepare project reports, information and educational material, communicate with media and liaison with other stakeholders, on mental health and rights of persons with mental illness.

About the Position:

The Communication and Documentation Manager will be responsible for the following:

Prepare overall communication plan for CMHLP and the projects being run by the Centre in collaboration with the team;

Collaborate with the team members to execute the communication plan in a timely and organized manner;

Establish and maintain collaboration with other relevant collaborators and organisations;

Well acquainted with using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.

Flexible with travel and being on the field
