Job brief
Sublime Arts Education is looking for a Lead Faculty and Trainer to implement their
comprehensive arts education program in affordable private schools across India. You will
manage a team of teachers and monitor the delivery of the program. Our ideal candidate is an
experienced educator with proven project management skills. Program success involves
measuring positive student, teacher, school experiences and outcomes.

Responsibilities
Lead Faculty
1. Manage and coach a team of teachers from Dance / Music / Theatre / Visual Art &
Design
2. Monitor teacher KPIs (e.g., through classroom observations, student feedback, etc.) and
provide feedback
3. Upskill teachers based on feedback
4. Collect feedback from schools and recommend curriculum revisions to lesson plans and
standards
5. Serve as Sublime ArtEd Faculty for one year minimum and as needed
Trainer
1. Train Sublime ArtEd faculty (in-house or of-school)
2. Design and schedule effective training programs
3. Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions
4. Travel across city/India to conduct workshops for school teachers
Eligibility
1. Bachelor in any field. Master’s in Education preferred.
2. Certification in the discipline of choice preferred
3. Teaching experience of 3 years minimum
4. Experience in teacher training
5. Strong communication and leadership skills (documentation, presentation, facilitation)
6. Strong project management skills
7. Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and LMS/MOOCs
8. Comfort to complexity and uncertainty

Preferred
1. Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
2. Up to date with new techniques in teacher training
3. Knowledge and experience of using technology in teaching and training
4. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
5. Ability to maintain workflow efficiency and change course as required

Reporting to: Program Manager - Sublime Art Ed
Works with: School Management, Principal, Lead Facilitator, Creative Head, CPDs,
APDs, Curriculum Consultant
Teaching Artists Faculty should have demonstrated experience in their
specific discipline and be passionate about teaching school-aged children in
affordable private school settings.
Responsible for
a. Focussed on continuous development and willing to work in a collaborative
and development process. Faculty would need to contribute to creating an online
learning ecosystem.
b. Assessment and feedback of growth and progress of the student in the
classroom The faculty would be key to provide curriculum scrutiny, school
assessment and feedback at the end of each term.
c. The faculty will be given an opportunity to enhance instructional strategies
through training.
d. They would also be responsible for participating in administrative functions in
the school, Faculty is expected to participate in pre-plan and post-planning meetings
with co-teaching artists online and in person.
Job Purpose
a. The teacher plays a critical role in the success of the program and takes on a
variety of roles within the program including, facilitator, artist, mentor, coach and
teacher.
b. Note Students individual progress to improve processes and methods.
c. Streamline introduction of 21st-century skills through Arts education in
educational institutes.

Eligibility Criteria
ï‚· Minimum one-year experience in a specialized art form Dance, Music, theatre
or Visual Art and Design. Preferred Degree certificate from a reputed institute.
Exceptions made for outstanding candidates with technical ability and
passion.
ï‚· Fluency in English, with conversational abilities in other Indian languages
ï‚· Some knowledge of classroom facilitation and lesson planning desirable
ï‚· Comfort and interest in working with children within the school system
ï‚· Available to work full time 8 am to 4 pm or part-time four hours a day
ï‚· Own transport preferred as faculty will be visiting various schools during the
week
ï‚· Not affiliated to any other program offering an arts curriculum to schools.
ï‚· Available for training on the syllabus and methodology of the Sublime ArtEd
program and refresher sessions thereafter from time to time.
ï‚· Background in performance, production experience desirable
ï‚· Works well in a team-oriented environment and maintains harmonious
relationships
ï‚· Strong communication and leadership skills (documentation, presentation,
facilitation)

Hours of Work: Three to four classes per day across different schools.
Duration of Contract: One academic year to three years.

About the organization
Sublime ArtEd, the arm of Prestige Foundation has a long-standing record in
nurturing and creating arts programs both for adults and children such as, Art
Bengaluru- An arts confluence held each year encompassing various arts forms
which has become a staple in the calendar of the city. Berserk- An annual arts
conference for children which takes place as residential training for selected children
after rigorous auditions held amongst schools across the State.
